Like most people I do love Halloween… A short time given to remember and revere our dead, our loved ones who have left the Earth. A moment to celebrate the time the thinning of the veil gives us with them.
My mother, God rest her, would have started the planning months ago. Parties, psychics, gifts… The works. Halloween was more than a special occasion to her.
As it should be to me…
I’m lazy, now that the kids don’t care, we will see if I turn the front yard into a graveyard this year… Resurrect pieces of my mother’s collection…
But I cannot give up completely…
This Halloween I’m doing the Ten Nights of Halloween on here and on Social Media… It really is just a listing of whatever I’m doing or watching in the next ten days.
Halloween entertainment… Definitely geared towards the binge watching of creepy Halloween shows but other things may find their way in here… I believe I have a graveyard picnic planned for next weekend and a party playlist somewhere…
So for my mother… Psychic and Halloween lover that she was… Happy Halloween!!! And Please, enjoy my small celebration in honor of her and all of my beloved departed ancestors…

Hopefully you are in the mood… Hopefully you get your pumpkin this week… Maybe throw up a tombstone or two in the yard, hit up the Dollar Tree for some candy… I remember one year when I wasn’t going to do anything… It depressed me so bad I had to go find candy in the middle of hiding from the trick or treaters…
