Bigger Monsters

Music for Reading…

I didn’t do Freak Accident Friday this week. The world has become all together to freaky this week, what with all my fellow countrymen going nuts in the streets. At each other’s throats with “well meaning” other fellow countrymen screaming at them at the top of their lungs… egging it all on. Faster, more violence, harder, moving farther and farther away from what the good guys almost achieved.

It’s not a matter of forgetting. It’s not a matter of “glazing over” truths that “no one” knows. The fact of the matter is that all this shit is shit that everyone knows and no new “revelations” about these certain horrible truths are going to change it. We are not making it better this way. It’s all for naught children because I will let you in on a little age old secret. Your enemies are watching you. They are learning exactly how to push your buttons. How to piss you off. How to make you look bad and how to eventually defeat you. They are learning your weaknesses and one of those major weaknesses is division.

Look how easy it is for this angry mob to be divided. One week 20 people are united against the white man. The next week 10 of those people are against the black, gay man. The next week only 5 are left and they have decided that they only have enough resources to be against whatever they judge to be the most important cause. Storm trooper week in Nevada or something.

Let me ask some questions. Are your schools good? Is your water clean? Does your air smell good and clean? Can you go to the dentist? The doctor? Right now? Are you or your kids hungry? Can your grandmother pay her bills? Have you been effected by the opioid crisis? Do you know or see homeless people who shouldn’t be? Americans should ask themselves these questions. Then look at the answers. This is not some statistical survey taken for measurements, weights and balances. This shit is personal.

If you really want to know some history, take a look at our society before now. We were united against them. And by them I mean the government. Our ever present enemy of state that we as a collective whole bitched about on a regular. They were hiding aliens from us. Poisoning our water. Polluting our air. Governmental conspiracy was even made into television shows. The bureaucracy as a whole was who we blamed. Not each other.

Take a look at this photo. This is from a CNN article commemorating the march on Washington for civil rights in 1963. Over 250,000 American citizens showed up to that march and please take a close look at that crowd. Please note that there are many colors in that crowd. United against one large problem.

The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. addresses a crowd near the Lincoln Memorial during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963. On the 50th anniversary of this historic civil rights event, we take a look back through rarely-seen color photographs from the day.

Today we are facing a larger problem because now, issues like this can be called out, ostracized and brought before the mob for judgement. You can slap a bitch in the store for saying something stupid. You may do your time for it, but it is still always an option. Humans should naturally mind their P’s and Q’s in the company of others. It’s only polite. It’s how people should act. We should not be fighting over this by now. Because by now we have much larger issues. People we are under attack as an entire class of multicolored, multiracial dollar signs.

Let me throw some numbers at you:

Estimated money Big Pharma donated the campaigns for president personally in 2016: $951,018.000 andĀ Over $273 million in lobbying bribes… sorry… “efforts”.

Estimated money the healthcare industry donated over all (this includes Big Pharma, Insurance and all the private entities involved): Over $15.7 million.

That’s a lot of money to have to make up for when the sharks come to get what they paid for.

How much is it worth to ya?

In 2014 – 28,647 Americans died from opioid related causes.

In 2015 – 33,091 Americans died from opioid related causes.

In 2016 – Over 50, 000 Americans died from opioid related causes.

2017 – The numbers aren’t in yet.

Who are the sharks?

Purdue Pharma – Inventors and producers of Oxycontin. In 2007 they paid out over 635 million in fines for false marketing. It was not completely revealed how addictive the pills actually were.

Insys Therapeutics – Our new rising stars. Meet the inventors and producers of Fentanyl. The newest opioid based pain killer which kills not only pain, but most living things as well. This Arizona based company paid out over $500,000.00 towards keeping marijuana illegal for medical use in the state in 2016.

Johnson & Johnson has the market down on Ketamine, better known as our friend Special K.

All of them have got their fins in the Hydrocodone market with Knoll Pharmaceuticals in the lead with Vicodin.

Here is something else that looked interesting to me. Check out this map:

Insys Therapeutics Offices are marked on the map in blue; Purdue is in red; Knoll in green; Johnson & Johnson in orange.

The red skull and crossbones mark the top 8 states hit the worst by the opioid crisis in this country. Here they are listed in order by crisis:

  1. West Virginia
  2. New Mexico
  3. Kentucky
  4. Tennessee
  5. Utah
  6. Colorado
  7. California
  8. Ohio

Looking at my map there it seems that the bomb makers do not live too far away from the mine fields. Looks like there is an evil grin stretched across the country. Rigor mortis face…

The drugs are not the only enemies we have out there folks. The environment alone is a bigger threat to all of us than anything. Right now we are at a critical moment within our house and the roof is about to cave in. The floor is rotten and the pipes are made of lead. Yes, the environment, our planet, is our house and it is falling apart.

It is being ripped apart. Because the ones who suffer from the environmental catastrophes are the same ones who fall victim to the doctors they trust. The same middle class, multi racial individuals who at one point thought they were okay. Safe. The same people who pay the bills but get left behind when it’s time to use some of the bill money.

Because the poor have nothing left to give but their lives and there are plenty of those to go around these days. The upper levels are now being gnawed at.

Don’t fight your fellow man, your neighbor, your friend. Don’t be convinced that those people around you are thinking what you think they may be. What the papers tell you they are thinking. Political issues are idol conversations when it comes to actual survival no?

I just want to say – we are all being bought and sold and we all need to stand up together to stop it before it gets out of hand. Never underestimate the ingenuity of scared, arrogant rich people convinced that money is God. Especially in the face of losing even a penny of that money.

Stop fighting in the streets. It’s exactly what they want you to do.

Good night my friends.
