In these places, in this time…
There are reminders that things are still right. That the world is still the same as it always has been.
It reminds one that these places must be sought out but kept secret. Loved and protected.
These are the places where your batteries are charged. Where Earth returns to you all you have put out.
Not money or things, but the energies that you have exhausted.
There are no great revelations. Just simple peace and quiet. Calm. Floating aimlessly around…
God is my Father and the Earth is my Mother. This is reaffirmed in these places.
I did have one odd thought as I stared at the fire, listening to the kids laughing…
Imagine for a small moment if humans, as the thumb carrying nomads of the planet, were actually supposed to be management?
What if a raccoon or something could actually (all Snow White style) come to humans for help?
As opposed to running away in fear on first sight?
What if we were given these gifts of walking upright, thumbs, fire and ideas, for the sole purpose of managing the planet we live on?
Think of that folks.
Of course this was discussed with the kids as well and they agree. Let’s hope they remember these conversations in the future 🙂
Welcoming in Summertime this month here in lovely Florida.. A place here on Earth that has almost always been continuously inhabited by humans since prehistoric times. A place where you can place your bare feet onto the same limerock ledges that ancient people once did. Feel the water wash them like they did.
Close your eyes and the people around you become the same people that were here over 12,000 years ago. The same noises, shouts, laughter…
It’s all exactly the same.
Be kind to each other and the Earth – Be good out there.
