While on vacation this past week I was struck with a revelation… I believe it may have been brought to me by a knocking spirit but whatever caused it, it made me think about forgiveness; and spirits.
Spirits that can’t cross over, spirits that are constantly knocking on one’s brain trying to tell one something.
I think maybe this condition may be caused by a lack of forgiveness. Our inability to forgive those who have wronged us and then passed on, or an individual who has passed before they could forgive those who wronged them.
If we cannot forgive or be forgiven then how can we exist together in a place called Heaven?
Let’s hope that Hell is not a place where we constantly wish we could make amends for the damage we caused on this planet. Let’s hope Hell is not the place where we can see through to the individuals we have hurt and how their lives were affected by those hurts.
Let’s hope that our forgiveness of those spirits even in death will set them free from that Hell and that our forgiveness saves us from being trapped in that same Hell someday….
