Something Else

I should have something else here. It’s no good to leave such a garish and vulgar statement as a last post for so long. I do apologize.

Sometimes the world gets me down. You want to give up, disregard those moments when people have been truly happy with you and those moments when you have actually made a difference. Put the memories aside that keep you going.

These moments are no good, but possibly… inevitable results of the flow of life and way too much over dramatic and repetitive news. It makes you wonder if anything can ever be done about anything.

And then… There is a poem that I always remember. A poem that enters my mind every time someone tells me or someone else they cannot achieve something. That they shouldn’t even try. How much pointless and wasted effort it will require.

It’s by Shel Silverstein (one of my favorite authors btw)

Listen to the MUSTN’TS, child,
Listen to the DON’TS
Listen to the SHOULDN’TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WONT’S
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me-
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be

It is such a true statement. My mother always said the same thing… “Anything can happen child. Anything can be…”

Have a beautiful day out there world.

Bee.
