The two late night divers in San Carlos Bay in California thought they were filming the moment a crab would be killed but they hadn't banked on Whiskers the local harbour seal joining the hunt

Out of the darkness Whiskers swoops in and savages the unsuspecting octopus while the crab quickly makes its getaway

In other news… It has been found that the crab was actually working for the seal and has sued him for damages incurred when “scuttling” away from the Octopus caused him to sprain his claw.
